easypaisa partners with Servis Shoes to expand QR payments nationwide

easypaisa digital bank has signed an agreement with Servis Shoes to introduce QR-based digital payments and Soundbox devices across 300 Servis stores in Pakistan.

The partnership aims to improve the retail payment experience by allowing customers to make faster, secure and contactless payments at Servis outlets. The companies said the initiative supports wider adoption of digital financial services and reduces dependence on cash in everyday retail transactions.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed in Islamabad during a ceremony attended by senior representatives and stakeholders from both organizations.

Under the arrangement, easypaisa will deploy QR payment solutions and Soundbox devices at Servis stores nationwide. Customers will be able to make payments by scanning easypaisa Raast QR codes through their mobile phones.

The collaboration is designed to make checkout services easier for shoppers while helping merchants accept digital payments more efficiently.

The Soundbox devices will provide audio confirmation of successful transactions, helping store staff verify payments in real time and improving confidence in digital payment acceptance.

easypaisa said the initiative reflects its broader goal of making digital payments more accessible and practical for consumers and merchants across Pakistan.

Companies highlight cashless economy goals

Shahzad Khan, Chief Business Officer at easypaisa digital bank, said the partnership with Servis Shoes reflected growing demand for contactless payment options in Pakistan.

He said Servis was a widely recognized retail brand and that the collaboration supported efforts linked to the Prime Minister’s and State Bank of Pakistan’s cashless economy initiative.

Kashif Aziz Khwaja, Chief Executive Officer of Service Retail (Pvt.) Ltd., said the partnership showed increasing merchant confidence in digital financial solutions. He said it could support broader acceptance of digital payments across Pakistan’s retail sector.

easypaisa said it has more than 60 million registered users and remains aligned with the State Bank of Pakistan’s vision for inclusive economic growth. The digital bank said it would continue expanding financial products and services for existing users as well as people who remain unbanked or underbanked.
