Bahria University holds 28th convocation in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD — Bahria University held its 28th Convocation Ceremony in Islamabad on Sunday, where more than 3,300 students were awarded undergraduate and postgraduate degrees across multiple disciplines.

Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf, who serves as Pro-Chancellor of Bahria University, attended the ceremony as chief guest and conferred degrees upon the graduating students, according to a statement issued by the Directorate General Public Relations (Pakistan Navy).

In addition to degree awards, 108 gold medals and 105 silver medals were presented to students in recognition of outstanding academic performance.

Addressing the gathering, Admiral Naveed Ashraf congratulated graduates and their families on reaching a significant academic milestone. He highlighted the role of higher education institutions in contributing to national development and acknowledged the university’s academic expansion.

The naval chief also noted the launch of new undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and the growth of Bahria University’s infrastructure in major cities across Pakistan.

The ceremony was attended by senior naval officers, university officials, members of the civilian community and parents of the graduating students.

Bahria University, established by the Pakistan Navy, offers programmes in a range of academic fields and operates campuses in multiple cities.
