Pakistan Armed Forces expand joint training with focus on multi-domain operations

Pakistan Armed Forces conduct joint multi-domain operations exercises integrating air, land, cyber, and drone systems.

The Pakistan Armed Forces have expanded large-scale training activities aimed at strengthening preparedness for modern warfare through multi-domain operations, officials said.

According to official sources, the exercises integrate air, land, cyber, electronic warfare, autonomous systems, and information operations into a unified operational approach. The initiative is designed to enhance coordination among different services and improve the ability to respond effectively in complex and fast-changing combat environments.

Joint Use of Conventional and Digital Warfare Capabilities

The training places particular emphasis on coordinated air and ground operations, supported by multi-role drones and long-range precision strike systems. Military planners say the integrated use of these capabilities helps restrict adversary movement while enabling accurate engagement across multiple fronts.

Cyber and information operations are conducted alongside conventional firepower during the drills. These elements are aimed at disrupting communication networks and impairing decision-making processes in simulated conflict scenarios.

Indigenous Systems and Allied Interoperability

Officials noted that the exercises involve a combination of domestically developed weapons and advanced drone platforms, used in coordination with defense systems acquired from friendly countries. This interoperability is intended to ensure seamless joint operations across different platforms and services.

The drills also highlight close cooperation between air and ground forces, reflecting joint planning and execution under realistic battlefield conditions.

Preparing for Contemporary Conflict

Military sources said the exercises demonstrate a continued focus on precision targeting, advanced technology, and inter-services integration. The training reflects efforts to align operational readiness with the evolving demands of contemporary warfare, where success increasingly depends on synchronized action across physical and digital domains.
