KARACHI: A Passing Out Parade of trainees from multiple entries was held at the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Airmen Academy, Korangi, on December 18, marking the completion of training for airmen from the PAF, Pakistan Navy, and allied countries.
Chief guest attends Passing Out Parade
Air Marshal Kashif Qamar, Deputy President of the NASTP Advisory Board, Pakistan Air Force, attended the ceremony as the chief guest. On his arrival, he was received by Air Vice Marshal Muhammad Shahid Afzaal, Air Officer Commanding, PAF Airmen Academy, Korangi Creek.
Trainees from PAF, Navy and allied countries graduate
According to officials, a total of 1,155 trainees from Entries No 2306, 2406, and 2412 successfully completed their training. The graduating batch included personnel from the Pakistan Air Force, Pakistan Navy, and allied countries.
Address highlights training focus
Addressing the Passing Out Parade, the chief guest referred to the importance of professional training aligned with modern warfare requirements. He said training at the academy is being conducted in line with evolving operational needs, including developments in multi-domain operations.
Awards presented to outstanding trainees
During the ceremony, trophies were awarded to trainees for academic and professional performance. The Chief of the Air Staff Trophy for Overall Best Performance was awarded to Aircraftman Sergeant Ahmed Hussain Arif.
The Asghar Khan Trophy for Best in Aeronautics was secured by Aircraftman Hamza Ali, while the Nur Khan Trophy for Aero Avionics Technology was also awarded to Aircraftman Sergeant Ahmed Hussain Arif.
The Air Officer Commanding Trophy for Best in General Service Training was awarded to Academy Sergeant Aircraftman Shafaat Noor. The Best Performance Trophy for the Foreign Trainee was presented to LAC THGND Herath of Sri Lanka.
Ceremony concludes at PAF Airmen Academy
The Passing Out Parade ceremony concluded with congratulations extended to the graduating trainees and acknowledgment of the academy’s instructional staff for conducting the training program.
