Senior Pakistani actress Amber Khan has revealed that she joined the showbiz industry out of necessity.
In a recent appearance on a private TV morning show, Amber discussed her journey in showbiz alongside fulfilling her responsibilities as a mother. She shared that the most difficult moment for her in showbiz was after the birth of her daughter. Amber explained that she came into the industry out of necessity and if it had been her choice, she would have joined before marriage. After doing a couple of commercials, she decided to leave because she felt guilty about leaving her daughter.
Amber further explained that during the peak of her career, her second daughter was born, and she had decided to leave showbiz, but her husband persuaded her not to, due to financial issues.
When addressing the criticism she faced, Amber shared that the day after her divorce, she went to work and hosted her morning show. Despite going through personal trauma, she chose not to let people’s opinions affect her. She expressed her strong connection with Allah and her faith, saying, “If tough times come, will people come to provide for me? No one will come. You must have trust in yourself and cultivate strength within.”
