According to Indian media, on January 22, a case was filed at the Mirthal Police Station in Haryana against actors Shreyas Talpade and Alok Nath for fraud and breach of trust. These two actors are among 13 individuals accused of violations such as breach of trust, fraud, and illegal transfer of property.
Additional Commissioner of Police (ACP) Mirthal, Ajit Singh, stated that the complaint is primarily against a society accused of deceiving people by promising investment returns. During the investigation, the roles of Shreyas Talpade and Alok Nath will be examined.
The complainant, Vipul Intel, mentioned that investors were assured that their money was secure and would be paid back upon maturity. He added that to attract investors, the society held events in high-end hotels, presented as training programs. However, later, agents’ benefits were withheld, and delays in maturity payments began. Afterward, the society’s owners shut down their phones and offices.
When investors and agents tried to contact those involved with the society, they were given false assurances, but their money was not refunded.
It is noteworthy that Shreyas Talpade appeared in the film Emergency, directed by Kangana Ranaut. On the other hand, senior actor Alok Nath has worked in over 300 films and has been a part of the industry since 1982.
