Bride Escapes with Jewelry and Cash During Wedding by Pretending to Go to the Bathroom

In a bizarre incident that occurred in India, a bride fled with jewelry and cash during her wedding by pretending to go to the bathroom.

The drama unfolded in the Shiv Temple in Bhuriya, Uttar Pradesh, where 40-year-old Kamlesh Kumar was getting married for the second time after the death of his first wife.

Kamlesh, a farmer from Govindpur village in Sitapur, contacted the media after the incident, while the police stated that no complaint has been filed so far in connection with the matter.

According to the allegations, the bride had come to the temple with her mother, and Kamlesh was there with his family.

Kamlesh shared that he had given the bride sarees, beauty products, and jewelry, and he was covering all the wedding expenses.

However, as soon as the rituals began, the bride excused herself to go to the bathroom and never returned. Kamlesh told reporters that the bride’s mother also fled with her.
