    Storing onions in the fridge increases moisture, which can lead to mold growth. Mold produces mycotoxins that can cause nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea when consumed.
  2. Garlic:
    Garlic faces similar risks as onions when refrigerated, potentially leading to health hazards.
  3. Potatoes:
    Refrigerating potatoes converts their starch into sugar, making them unnaturally sweet and altering their taste.

To ensure the freshness and safety of these foods, it’s best to store them in a cool, dry place outside the refrigerator.
