Pakistani actress Ayesha Afridi has clarified that she has no relation to former Pakistan cricket team captain Shahid Afridi. Ayesha made this statement during a recent appearance on a TV show, where she was asked about her connection to Shahid Afridi.
Ayesha explained, “I have no relation to Shahid Afridi. Whenever I meet people, they always ask me this question.” She further mentioned that even on social media, people frequently ask if she is related to Afridi, to which she responds that she is simply Ayesha Afridi.
She added that her family is Pathan, and there is no one from the entertainment industry in their family. Ayesha shared that it was difficult to convince her family to allow her to enter showbiz, but despite her career in acting, she doesn’t receive much prominence within her family as an actress.
