The year 2025 is approaching, and for this reason, experts from the Pantone Color Institute in the U.S. have announced the color of 2025.
Each year, the institute selects a color, and for 2025, it has chosen a shade of brown, specifically named Mocha Mousse. According to the experts, this color evokes a sense of warmth.
They explained that this warm brown hue, which resembles chocolate and coffee, enhances a feeling of calmness. Additionally, it strengthens the desire for harmony.
The experts mentioned that this color was chosen because it increases our drive for peace and safety, while also encouraging the sharing of life’s simple joys with others.
It’s important to note that the institute has been selecting a color of the year since 1999, marking 25 years of this tradition. To choose the color, the institute reviews color trends throughout the year, considering various aspects such as fashion, marketing, social media, and politics.
For reference, the institute had selected a soft pinkish-orange color named Peach Fuzz for 2024, Viva Magenta, a shade of red, for 2023, and a shade of purple called Very Peri for 2022.
