Instagram has introduced a new feature that allows users to share their live location.
With this feature, users can share their live location in direct messages (DMs), similar to how the live location sharing feature works on WhatsApp.
Users will be able to share their location for up to one hour at a time and pin specific locations on the map.
The live location sharing option will only be available in one-on-one or group chats. Only the people in the chat will be able to view the location, but they will not be able to forward it to other chats.
Instagram has also introduced a customizable nickname feature for direct messages, allowing users to add a nickname for themselves or their friends, which will appear in DM chats.
