Popular showbiz star Alizeh Shah left her fans in shock when she deleted her Instagram account, including deleting her profile picture. The actress, known for her role in Mera Dil Mera Dushman, now has zero posts on her account, raising concern and curiosity among her 4.3 million followers.
Despite her considerable online presence, Shah offered no explanation for the drastic act. The decision comes months after she faced significant backlash for adopting a K-pop-inspired look that drew mixed reactions from social media users. In March, Alizeh returned to Instagram after a month-long hiatus, revealing a new aesthetic heavily influenced by K-pop celebrities.
The revelation attracted considerable attention, quickly going viral, but also drew criticism. Many users expressed their disapproval, suggesting that she has lost her individuality in trying to imitate popular K-pop characters.

One social media user lamented: “What happened to her? She lost her individuality to look ordinary like any other K-celeb, while another quipped, “When you order a Korean doll from Darazu.” Other comments criticized her perceived transformation, with one user saying, “She ruined her natural beauty” and another described as “plastic beauty”.
Scrutiny intensified in May during an evening performance where her outfit was compared to that of Indian influencer Uorfi Javed. Reactions on social media included statements such as: “She was just inspired by Urfi”, with others jokingly adding: “Now I’m going to have nightmares.”
Reacting to the online trolling, Alizeh Shah earlier accepted her stories on Instagram, saying: “She still looked better than people sitting at home writing rubbish. While fans speculate about the reasons for her recent social media purge, the actress remains an interesting figure in the entertainment industry.
