PCB appoints Australia’s Tony Hemming as chief pitch curator

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Monday appointed Australian Tony Hemming as the chief pitch curator.

According to details, Hemming will leave for Lahore on Wednesday to take up the new responsibility. Hemming will prepare the pitch for the Bangladesh-England series.

He will also look after the pitch preparation during the upcoming Champions Trophy scheduled to be held in the country in February.

Hemming has more than 40 years of field preparation experience. In this respect he served for various countries.

He also served as Chief Curator for the ICC in 2007 and 2017.
