WhatsApp’s Meta-owned messaging app is working on a great new feature to make it easier to share files even when you’re not connected to the internet.
The latest information says that you will be able to share photos, videos, music and documents offline.
This new feature allows you to share different types of files without the need for Wi-Fi or data. Don’t worry about security – the files you share will be encrypted, which means they will be safe from anyone trying to access them.
Leaked screenshots of the latest beta version of WhatsApp for Android show what permissions are required for the feature. The important thing is that in the future it can find other phones and share the same offline files.
To work on Android phones, WhatsApp needs permissions that allow it to search for other devices using Bluetooth. But if you are not comfortable with it, you can always turn it off.
Earlier, WhatsApp added a feature that allows you to bookmark notes for easy storage. So, WhatsApp seems to always come up with cool stuff to make your chats even better!
