According to details, DSP Gul Muhammad Khan and another official Naseem Gul were martyred in an attack by criminals near Manjiwala Chowk in Lakki Marwat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Friday night.
According to details provided by the police spokesperson, DSP Gul Muhammad Khan was on patrol in the area when the attack took place. A police officer was injured in the attack and is being treated in the hospital.
After the attack, law enforcement agencies responded quickly and collected evidence from the scene. Furthermore, an operation has been initiated to arrest the culprits for this dastardly act.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin strongly condemned the attack on the Gandapur police vehicle and mourned the martyrdom of DSP Gul Muhammad Khan and the shooter in the incident.
He also prayed for the martyrs and demanded necessary action for the immediate arrest of the elements involved in the shooting. “The families of the martyrs will not be left alone and will give them full support,” Gandapur said.
He also announced financial assistance to the families of the martyrs under the Shuhada portfolio. “Steps should be taken to pay the martyr’s package to the families of the martyrs on time,” he told police officials.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Haji Ghulam Ali also condemned the firing of a police vehicle in Lakki Marwat and expressed grief over the martyrdom of two policemen.
He expressed his sympathy and condolences to the family of the martyred ambassador and prayed for the departed souls.
