US President Joe Biden has written a letter to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, expressing his best wishes for the newly elected government of Pakistan.
President Biden said the US-Pakistan partnership is important to ensure the security of the world and the people of the US.
This is the US President’s first letter after Shahbaz Sharif took office after the coalition parties PMLN, PPP, and others won the February 8 general elections.
President Biden extending support to Pakistan America will stand with Pakistan in solving the challenges facing the world and the region.
The US president emphasized that public health protection, economic development, and education for all are a shared vision.
Pursue a common vision together
“We will continue to pursue this common vision together,” the US president said in a letter written to Prime Minister Shehbaz.
Green Alliance
Biden said the US will also strengthen the framework of the Pakistan Green Alliance and the two regions will strengthen the alliance to improve the environment.
The letter will continue to support the sustainable development of agriculture, water management, and recovery from the devastating effects of floods in 2022.
Protection of Human Rights
The US President is committed to protecting human rights and promoting development together with Pakistan.
“It will strengthen the strong partnership between the two nations,” Joe Biden’s letter said, stressing that the close ties between the people of the two countries will further strengthen.
