LAHORE – The Salee Jaffar-led Women’s National Selection Committee has named 23 probables for the upcoming T20 tri-series in Cox’s Bazar involving Sri Lanka and hosts Bangladesh.
The T20 tournament will be played twice head-to-head, with participating teams playing four matches each and the top two teams playing the final on February 2.
Among the 23 probables, six players – Anosha Nasir, Eyman Fatima, Laiba Nasir, Mahnoor Aftab, Rida Aslam and Zaib-un-Nisa – have already played for Pakistan at the ICC Women’s Under-19 World Cup in South Africa last year.
The selection will be announced by the 15-member squad during the camp, which will be held from January 10 to 18 at the Hanif Mohammad High Performance Center in Karachi. During the nine-day camp, the players will present themselves in practice sessions and practice T20 matches.
